2ACTOR Manoj Bajpayee is one of Bollywood’s quintessentially talented actors who not only gets into the skin of his characters but delivers with such ease that he can easily be called a director’s favourite. Be it commercial films or individual performance oriented films or short films, the actor never fails to entertain the audiences and lives up to every film maker’s expectations.
The two-time national award winner and the first Indian to win the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Bajpai has previously worked in three successful short films like Devashish Makhija’s Taandav, Shrish Kundar’s Kriti and Neeraj Pandey’s Ouch where the actor won millions of hearts across the globe and many accolades from the industry.
Witnessing this profound success growth in Bajpai’s short film career, one hears that many directors are now giving a preference to him when it comes to delivering power-packed performances. According to a recent news report, the actor is known to have been approached by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for a web series which is about a special cell agent, who is trying to solve a major case, which revolves around a major socio-political problem.  It is heard to be a socio-political thriller drama titled The Family Man which will have 10 episodes and will go on floors only in 2018.”
Talking about it, he said, “Yes I am approached by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for a web-series which will be like socio-political thriller drama. I have previously seen their work and I have really admired them as makers. We are currently in the initial stage and once things lock down I can speak further on it. I am looking forward to working with them and some great experience.
Interestingly, he is presently filming Bhonsle in Mumbai, which revolves around the story for a retired head constable. The actor will also simultaneously start shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 2 this December.
