‘Eight”, the new STEFANO RICCI fragrance has a stylistic purity that is renewed in the crystal bottle, protected in a tailored plexi glass casing, enhanced by the fragrance’s emerald green colour.
”8” is an opus, a venture into a desired narrative between man and his surroundings, a symbol of the infinite that represents the unbound limits of the STEFANO RICCI universe. The main accord takes inspiration from the bergamot, the famed Italian citrus, with a balanced blend of cardamom, mandarin and blackcurrant top notes, whilst the heart notes of lavender, cedar, and jasmine incorporate a definitive charisma to any environment. The lingering base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, white musk and vanilla satisfyingly complete the narration.
“After the success of the Royal Eagle line,” said Filippo Ricci, Creative Director of STEFANO RICCI S.p.A., “we decided to call the new fragrance with its natural number in our sequence of fragrances. It is an important number, which conjures up the infinite.
“In Hebrew, 8 signifies a test, in Buddhism it shows the way of redemption; for the Chinese immortals it is the number of cosmic balance. For us, more simply, it is a reference to the forms of Florentine architecture which are idealogically linked from the Baptistery to Brunelleschi’s Dome. It is a fragrance designed for the man who takes care of every detail of his being, one who is in constant evolution in his dialogue with the infinite.”
